DURHAM, N.C. - Following the NCAA College Cup, Duke University women's soccer standouts
Nicole Lipp and
Mollie Pathman have been named to the final CS360 Primetime Performers list of the 2011 campaign.
Lipp and Pathman were joined by Stanford's Camille Levin, Emily Oliver and Teresa Noyola on the list.
The Blue Devils are coming off their first NCAA College Cup appearance since 1992, before falling in the title match to top-ranked Stanford, 1-0. Duke registered a school-record 22 victories and only the second Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular season title in school history with a school-record eight league wins.
A product of Lake Forest, Ill., Lipp collected two assists in the NCAA College Cup semifinal match against Wake Forest to help lead Duke to a 4-1 victory over the Demon Deacons. She also had two assists in the NCAA Tournament against Ohio State in the final 16 contest. Lipp's four assists in the 2011 NCAA Tournament is now the most all-time for a Blue Devil in tournament play.
Pathman, who is out of Durham, N.C., registered two goals in the Wake Forest semifinal match at the NCAA College Cup, including the game-winner in the 50th minute. Her multi-goal output was the fourth of her short career. The 5-3 forward turned in six goals, a team-best 11 assists and 23 points on the season. She also had three game-winning goals.
