With The Duke Victory:
- Improved to 19-0 overall and 5-0 in ACC play on the season and remained the only undefeated team in the nation.
- The 19-0 start continues the best start by a Coach P team over her 19 years as a head coach.
- Moved the series record to 39-31 in favor of N.C. State.
- Won its fifth straight game against the Wolfpack.
- Coach P improved to 5-2 all-time against N.C. State.
Senior Jasmine Thomas
- With her 14 points, moved into eighth place on Duke's all-time scoring list with 1,448 points. She passed Chante Black (1438).
- Notched 14 points, three rebounds, two steals and one assist.
- Started her 79th straight game at Duke.
Freshman Chelsea Gray
- Hit a layup with 12 seconds left to give Duke the victory.
- Notched 13 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal.
- Broke a string of two games without a three-pointer as she hit 1-of-4.
- Scored double-figures in five out of the last six away games.
- Registered double-figure scoring for the ninth time this season and second in ACC action.
Senior Krystal Thomas
- Posted 13 points, seven rebounds, one block and one steal.
- Notched double-figure scoring for the second straight game.
Junior Shay Selby
- Provided a spark off the bench as she notched nine points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists in 18 minutes.
- Started the second half.
Other Duke Notes:
- Last time Duke trailed by as many as 20 points and came back was Jan. 3, 2004Opened the game 2-of-18 from the field.
- Held NCSU without a field goal for the final 8:45 of the game.
- Had only 15 turnovers in the game and only seven assists.
- Posted 13 steals marking the ninth time out of the last 10 games with 10+ steals.
- The 56.3 percent shooting in the second half is the fifth-highest of the season in the second half.
- The 22 first half points and 21.9 percent first half field goal percentage were season lows.
- Allowed a 51.9 field goal percentage in the first half, which was the second-highest of the season.
- The 40-22 deficit at the half was the largest of the season (previous was 33-29 vs. Maryland on 1-6-11).
- The 20-point deficit, 42-22, during the second half was the largest of the season (previous was 15 at Charlotte on 11-22-10).
- Had only six turnovers in the second half.
- Held a 17-8 advantage in second chance points.
- Hit only 52.2 percent from the free throw line for the game, which is the third-lowest of the year.
- Will next host Clemson on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
