With The Duke Victory:
- Improved to 17-0 overall and 3-0 in the ACC on the season.
- The 17-0 start continues the best start by a Coach P team over her 19 years as a head coach.
- Duke remained one of two undefeated teams in the nation (Florida Gulf Coast).
- Improved to 8-0 on the road this year.
- Won its 14th straight game against Virginia Tech.
- Improved its series lead to 16-2 against the Hokies.
Senior Jasmine Thomas
- Totaled 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 30 minutes.
- Started her 77th straight game at Duke.
Freshman Tricia Liston
- Posted 13 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes.
- Attempted a career-high eight treys.
- Five rebounds matched a career high.
- Registered double-figure scoring for the third straight game, which is a first for her career.
- Hit a three-pointer in the fourth straight game.
Senior Karima Christmas
- Pulled down eight rebounds and had four points.
- Matched a career high with five assists in the first half and finished the game with six.
Sophomore Allison Vernerey
- Totaled a season-high 15 points, seven rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in 26 minutes.
- Hit 7-of-11 field goals.
- Notched double-figure scoring for the second time this season and 12th time in her career.
Other Duke Notes:
- The Blue Devil bench outscored the starters, 29-28, for the second time this season (Wisconsin).
- Nine different Blue Devils had at least one assist.
- After hitting 50.0 percent from the field in the first half, hit only 24.2 percent in the second.
- Outrebounded VT, 45-36.
- Notched 11 steals, marking the seventh time out of the last eight games with 10+ steals.
- Dished 17 assists in the game.
- Hit only 4-of-22 three-point field goals.
- Held a 32-18 advantage in points in the paint.
- Registered 29 points off the bench.
