Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski
Opening Statement
"Well we're really pleased to win a really hard fought game. Miami's played great basketball here, and this afternoon was another example of just how well they're playing. I thought our guys had to play a great second half. First half was chaotic and second half, I thought we were really good and then we missed a couple. And they hit about four threes in a row. So they ... fought until the very end and I thought we did too, and we feel very good about coming out on the positive side."
On playing against the zone
"We hadn't played against zone much. My good buddy Jim Boeheim will tell you in the tournament if you get to the second game, you may have one day to prepare for the zone and they may not have seen zone for eight to 10 games. I thought the zone stood us up. We talked about driving the zone but didn't practice it. We started driving the zone in the second half. Kyle (Singler) really did that. He epitomized how you should attack the zone."
On the technical foul
"I don't call a technical on me. I don't know why the technical was called on me."
On the passion of the Mason and Miles Plumlee
"It is two straight days Mason and Miles have really played well. They have been playing well, but their play has gone up a level. They have been very athletic. They are moving their feet even better. They gave us some real positive contributions. I am really pleased with how they are coming along."
Junior Guard Kyle Singler
On his apparent injury and second half performance
"I just kind of lost my breath - nothing too serious. But in the second half, pretty much I just got the ball in some great spots to score the basketball, and pretty much just using our bigs to get open."
On overcoming a halftime deficit
"I think just focusing on what we have to do, instead of focusing on other things - the fans, the crowd. Just focus on what we're doing because that's pretty much all that matters."
Senior Guard Jon Scheyer
On Duke's second half performance
"I think for us, at that point, our defense - once we continue to get stops - that really gets our offense going. And during that stretch, we got away from that a little bit. And that's the key to our team."
On having another shot to win the ACC title
"It means a lot for us obviously. Not many teams have been able to win the regular season and the tournament. Not only that, it is just a special thing. We just take every game one step at a time and that is what we have done. We really want to win tomorrow. It is obviously a great opportunity."
