Team Notes:
- Duke improved to 86-39 all-time in the ACC Tournament and 48-17 under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. The Blue Devils are 30-3 in the ACC Tournament since 1999 and own a 32-15 record in tournament games held at the Greensboro, Coliseum.
- With the win, Duke extended its record for most wins in tournament history with 86. The Blue Devils are 36-8 all-time as the No. 1 seed and advance to the championship game for the 29th (17-11) time in school history.
- The Blue Devils have won 11 straight games against unranked opponents and are now 148-21 versus unranked ACC foes in the last 11 seasons.
- Saturday was just the sixth time this season the Blue Devils have trailed at halftime and are now 2-4 in those contests.
- Duke shot 54.2 percent (13-of-24) in the second half, the 19th half this season they have shot 50 percent or better.
- Miami was the first opponent this season to shoot over 50 percent from behind the three-point line against the Blue Devils and just the sixth to shoot better than 40 percent. Georgetown and Maryland had shot the best against Duke at 46.2 percent this season.
- The Blue Devils held a commanding 38-24 rebounding advantage, improving to 24-2 when outrebounding the opposition.
- Five different Duke players recorded at least five rebounds, marking the fourth game this season that has happened. The Blue Devils also did it against UNC Greensboro, Connecticut and North Carolina.
Player Notes:
- Freshman Mason Plumlee recorded six rebounds for his eighth game this season with five or more.
- Plumlee blocked two shots to give him 23 on the year. He has blocked two or more in five games this season.
- Senior Jon Scheyer has started in 40 consecutive games and is one of 22 players in school history with 100 or more career starts.
- Scheyer extended his streak to 26 consecutive games with a made three-point field goal and leads the team with 92 treys this season.
- Scheyer recorded his 108th career game with 10 or more points. The 108 double-figure scoring games ranks tied for seventh most at Duke with Trajan Langdon. He has scored in double figures in 32 of the 33 games on the year.
- With six rebounds, Scheyer has posted back-to-back games with five or more boards and has eight overall games this season with at least five rebounds.
- The three steals mark the eighth time this season and 26th career game that Scheyer has recorded at least three steals. He now has 197 in his career, moving into sole possession of 10th on the school's career list.
- Junior Kyle Singler extended his consecutive starts streak to 61 games, the longest current streak on the team. He now has 103 career starts as one of 22 players in school history with 100 or more career starts.
- Singler notched his third career game with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. He also had 20-5-5 against Pennsylvania this year and 21-5-5 against Rhode Island last season.
- Singler recorded his 13th game this season with 20 or more points and 28th career game. He reached double figures in scoring for the 30th time this season. It is the fifth time this season he has scored 25 or more.
- The five three-point field goals are tied for the fourth most by a Blue Devil in the ACC Tournament. It marks just the second time in Singler's career he has made five or more. He made a career-high eight against Georgia Tech at home earlier in the year.
- Singler tallied his fourth game of the season with five or more assists. His six assists were one shy of a career high set earlier this year against Radford.
- Junior Nolan Smith tallied his 29th game this season with 10 or more points and has 52 career double-figure scoring games.
- Smith had three assists, giving him 17 games with three or more assists this season.
- Senior Lance Thomas pulled down five rebounds to give him 16 games with five or more this season.
- Senior Brian Zoubek earned his ninth consecutive start and is averaging 6.7 points and 10.2 rebounds as a starter.
- The five made free throws were a season high for Zoubek, who's previous high was four at N.C. State.
- The six rebounds give Zoubek five or more in eight of his nine starts and 24 games overall this season.
