Head coach Mike Krzyzewski moved past Adolph Rupp into sole possession of third on the NCAA career wins list. Krzyzewski now has 877 career wins, two shy of Dean Smith for second all-time.
Duke extended its NCAA-leading streak of non-conference home wins to 82 with the victory over Bradley. The Blue Devils have won 24 straight games in Cameron Indoor Stadium overall and 53 of its last 55 home contests. The current home winning streak ranks fifth all-time at Duke.
The Blue Devils have won 19 straight games dating back to last season and have started 9-0 for the 14th time under Krzyzewski.
Duke has now won 51 consecutive home games in the month of December with the last loss coming against Michigan on Dec. 8, 1996.
The Blue Devils extended their streak of sellouts to 310 consecutive games since Nov. 16, 1990.
Duke has scored 80 or more points in seven straight games and in eight of the nine games this season. They are 490-46 all-time under Coach K when scoring at least 80 points.
With a strong second half performance that saw the Blue Devils put up 51 points, Duke has now scored 50 or more in the second half in five of the nine games on the year.
Duke shot .621 (18-of-29) in the second half, including 10-of-16 (.625) from behind the three-point line. For the game they shot 50 percent, marking the fourth time this year they have shot 50 percent or better from the field.
The 15 made three-point field goals were a season high for the Blue Devils, who have made 10 or more in four games. The last time they had 15 made treys was against Long Beach State a year ago.
Duke tallied 22 assists on 30 made field goals. It is the fourth time this season they have recorded 20 or more assists in a game.
With only nine turnovers, the Blue Devils matched a season low. They also only had nine miscues against Miami (Ohio) in the second game of the season.
This game marked the first time this season Duke did not have at least four players score in double figures.
Sophomore Seth Curry set season highs with four rebounds and four assists to go with his eight points. His previous highs were three rebounds against Princeton and Colgate and three assists against Colgate and Butler.
Curry also logged a season-high 26 minutes off the bench.
Sophomore Andre Dawkins earned his first career start against Bradley. The Chesapeake, Va. native had played in 46 career games off the bench prior to Wednesday's contest.
Dawkins set a career high with 28 points. It was his second career 20-point game, matching his total of 20 against Radford a year ago. He reached double figures for the sixth time this season and 12th time in his career with 12 points.
His 10 field goals were also a career best, three more than the seven he had against Radford last year.
He made a career-high eight three-point field goals. The eight three-point field goals is tied for third most in a single game in Duke history with seven other players. The last player to make eight or more was Kyle Singler, who had eight against Georgia Tech last season. Dawkins' previous best was six treys against Radford last season. He now has three or more in five games on the year. He leads the team with 27 made three-point field goals.
The 14 three-point attempts are tied for sixth most in a single game.
Senior Kyle Singler drew his team-leading 77th consecutive start and has now started in 119 of his 120 career games.
Singler had 17 points to become the 16th player in school history with 1,900 career points. He now has 1,909 points in his career.
He now has 103 career double-figure scoring games with 10 or more in eight of the nine games on the year.
With his four three-point field goals, he passes Jeff Capel for seventh on the school's career three-point field goals list. He now has 223 career treys.
He shot 3-of-3 from the free throw line to put his season average back above 90 percent. He is now shooting .903 (28-of-31) from the foul line in nine games.
His four assists doubled his previous season high. He previously had two assists in three games.
Senior Nolan Smith set a career high with 10 assists. He had nine earlier this season against Colgate for his previous best. The last time a Duke player had 10 or more in a game was Jon Scheyer's 11 against Pennsylvania last season. Smith has posted five or more assists in six games this season and 14 career games.
Smith finished with 10 assists and zero made field goals, shooting 0-for-8 in the game. The last time a Duke player had 10 or more assists and did not make a shot was Feb. 28, 1998 when Steve Wojciechowski tallied 11 assists and was 0-for-4 from the field against North Carolina in a 77-75 Duke win. It is the fourth time it has happened under Coach K as Quin Snyder had 12 assists and was 0-for-2 against Southern Methodist in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 1988 and Tommy Amaker finished with 10 assists while shooting 0-for-2 against Harvard in 1984.
Smith had his ACC-leading streak of 19 straight double-figure scoring games come to an end as he scored just two points.
