After trailing for the first time in the game at 17-15, Duke's Kyrie Irving converted back-to-back three-point plays to give Duke a 21-17 lead. The Blue Devils have only trailed for three total minutes in the first seven games and have never trailed by more than two points.

The previous record was 11 makes by Jon Scheyer against Miami in 2007 and Redick against Virginia in 2003. Elton Brand is the only other freshman to attempt 16 free throws in a game (vs. Chaminade in 1997).
The six rebounds give Irving five or more in three games and are also a season high.

The five steals for Plumlee were a career high. His previous best was four against Pennsylvania last season. It is the second time this season a Duke player has recorded five steals as Seth Curry had five against Kansas State in the CBE Classic championship game.
Senior Kyle Singler drew his 75th consecutive start and has now started in 117 of his 118 career games.
Singler earned his 100th career win, becoming the 30th Blue Devil with at least 100 wins as a player.
