DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team completed the Kitty Harrison Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 7. Blue Devil senior Ellah Nze grabbed third place overall in singles for the three day tournament.
Duke finished the weekend tournament with singles matches against conference rival Maryland on Sunday. The Blue Devils were undefeated in five matches on the day against the Terrapins and improved to 22-1 in singles play on the weekend. Nze took third place in singles overall at the Kitty Harrison Invitational and finished the weekend 4-0 in singles.
In doubles action, the Duke women faced off against Pepperdine. The Blue Devils were 2-1 against the The Waves. During the three day tournament Duke was 8-4 in doubles against Georgia Tech, Pepperdine, Princeton and Vanderbilt.
Duke finished its fall tennis season on Sunday and will resume action Jan. 8, when the Blue Devils travel to Hawaii for the Hills Family Winter Trip.
