DURHAM, N.C.— Steve Barnes of GoDuke.com Inside Access sat down with Duke freshman women's basketball standout Tricia Liston to talk about why she chose Duke, what she brings to the program and much more.
Liston, a product of River Forest, Ill., was the Gatorade Illinois Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She averaged 28.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 steals as a senior at Fenwick H.S., while also earning third-team Parade All-America honors. Liston registered 2,713 points in high school and totaled 13 games of 30 or more points last year.
Duke will next host Carson-Newman in an exhibition contest on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 2:00 p.m. The contest is free admission. The game will feature live video on www.GoDuke.com with Barnes and Morgan Patrick calling the action.
