Women's Tennis to Visit White House on Tuesday

DURHAM, N.C.-The nation's top-ranked Duke University women's tennis team will reap the benefits of capturing the 2009 NCAA Championship when it travels to the nation's capital to tour the White House on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The Blue Devils will take a tour of the White House in the morning and will follow that with a tour of the United States Capitol.
Duke also kicks off the 2010 season on Monday, Jan. 11 with its first practice. The Blue Devils recently were tabbed the top squad in the country to start the year. The title defense for the reigning NCAA Champions will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 19 when Duke hosts Memphis at 3 p.m.
Individually, the Blue Devils have four players ranked among the top 100 players in the country. Junior Reka Zsilinszka tops the list at No. 20. Sophomore Monica Gorny is 63rd and senior Amanda Granson and junior Ellah Nze are at No. 80 and No. 91, respectively.
