Beard & Mosch Named To EuroLeague All-Star Game Squad For The Rest Of The World
DURHAM, N.C. ? Former Duke University women's basketball players Alana Beard and Sheana Mosch have been named to the Rest of the World All-Star squad, which was announced by FIBA Europe. The EuroLeague All-Star game will take place in Paris, France on March 8 at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin.
The players were selected based on a public vote, collected throughout the month of January on www.fibaeurope.com. The All-Star Weekend will feature a photo opportunity and a number of social activities for the players on Saturday, March 7 before the main game and a three-point shootout on Sunday March 8.
Beard currently plays for the LOTOS PKO BP in Gdynia, Poland and is averaging 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.8 assists. Mosch is the leading scorer for Lattes Montpellier in Lattes, France. She is averaging 18.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Mosch was also selected to participate in the three-point shooting contest.
