WEST HAVEN, Conn.-Duke University junior Reka Zsilinszka bounced back with a win in first round of the consolation singles draw at the ITA National Indoor Championship hosted by Yale University. The win pushes her into the quarterfinal round tomorrow, No. 6.
The 13th-ranked Zsilinszka defeated Florida State's Katie Rybakova 6-4, 6-3 to resume her winning ways. She will face Stephanie Kent of Yale in the quarterfinal round after the Bulldog upset No. 4 seed Fani Chifchieva of Auburn.
The Blue Devils also were in action today at the annual Kitty Harrison Invitational. Results will be posted at www.GoDuke.com once they are available.
