The Blue Devil tandem will open the weekend with doubles play at 12:15 p.m. (ET) on Oct. 3. Playing together for the first time this season, they are seeded eighth overall and will battle Clarisse Baca and Katrina Zheltova of Sacramento State University in the opening match.
Plotkin is coming off of a 3-1 weekend in singles play at the Wake Forest Fall Invitational. Playing competitively for the first time in nearly two years, she defeated the No. 42-ranked player in her opening match. Plotkin will kick off singles play at 2 p.m. (ET), on Oct. 3 against Megan Alexander of TCU.
In her first tournament as a Blue Devil, Gorny registered a 3-1 singles mark at Wake Forest. She won her opening two matches and dropped just two sets in her four matches. Gorny will take on Sarah Landsman of Arizona in her opening singles match.
