Dimitrov And Michel Fall In Semifinals Tiebreaker

ATHENS, Ga. ? Monday's semifinals doubles match for Duke's Kiril Dimitrov and Alain Michel came down to a tiebreaker but the Blue Devils fell just short of advancing to the championship match of the 41st Annual Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga.
Facing East Tennessee State's Enrique Olivares and Alex Ahlgren, Duke's doubles tandem fought to the end but came up just short losing the match on a tiebreaker, 9-8 (3). Dimitrov and Michel are now 3-1 following the opening weekend of the season.
Duke will be in action again this weekend when they travel to Charlottesville, Va. for the UVA Fall Invitational Saturday through Monday.
