- Notched its eighth win out of nine games in the Comcast Center.
- Moved its record in March to 64-22 since 1992-93 and 56-14 over the last 11 years.
- Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie improved to 12-11 in NCAA Tournament play in 12 appearances.
- Improved to 39-14 overall in 15 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
- Moved to 7-1 overall when a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament (1999 was only other time).
- Will next play in the NCAA Sweet 16 against second-seeded Texas A&M. The contest will be played on Sunday,

Junior Chante Black
- Her 26 points is a new career high.
- With her three blocked shots on the night, she moved into 12th place on the ACC career blocked shots list (190).
- Registered 12 points and nine rebounds in the first half and went on to finish the game with a career-high 26 points.
- Notched her eighth double-double of the season and 14th of her career with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
- Her 13 rebounds tied a season high.
- Her 20+ points in the game marked the fourth time out of the last eight contests she has scored 20 or more points.
- Posted double-figure scoring for the 29th time out of 34 games.
- Totaled 13 rebounds, which is tied for the second most by a Duke player in an NCAA Tournament game.
- Her 26 points is tied for the ninth-highest single game total by a Duke player in an NCAA Tournament game.
- Collected 10 free throws attempted, which is tied for the fourth-highest by a Duke player in the NCAA Tournament.
- Matched career highs with eight free throws made and 10 free throws attempted.
- Took 20 shots, which is five more than her previous career best (15 at Penn State).
Junior Abby Waner
- Totaled two steals on the night giving her 76 for her career, which is ninth on the single season Duke charts.
Sophomore Joy Cheek
- Collected nine points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes.
Senior Wanisha Smith
- With her nine points, she moved into 14th place on Duke's all-time points list with 1,245.
- Made her 118th career start and is now tied for fourth along with Lindsey Harding on Duke's all-time starts list.
- Dished a team-best four assists and now owns 492 career dishes.
Freshman Jasmine Thomas
- Finished with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 32 minutes.
- Notched double-figure scoring for her third straight game - which is a career best.
- Totaled double-figure scoring for the 12th time this season.
Other Duke Notes:
- Did not hit a three-pointer for the second time this season (0-of-4).
- Took only four three-pointers, which tied a season low.
- Got off to its second straight good start in the NCAA Tournament, after trailing early in 21 of the first 32 games.
- Outrebounded Arizona State, 42-31, to improve to 21-1 this season when outrebounding its opponent.
- Held a 28-22 points in the paint advantage.
- Bench was outscored, 15-8, for only the eighth time this season.
- Collected and 8-0 advantage in fast break points.
- Blue Devils hit 19-of-24 free throws for a 79.2 percentage, after entering the game hitting 66.7 percent from the charity stripe.
- After totaling 20 offensive rebounds in the first round, the Blue Devils pulled down 19 against Arizona State.
