Duke Explores Los Angeles On Thursday

LOS ANGELES, Calif.?The Duke women's basketball team went sight-seeing on Thursday prior to playing in the Women of Troy Basketball Classic in Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 19-20. Click on the photo gallery to the right for a detailed look at the trip.
The Blue Devils first went to the Santa Monica Pier. Some even braved the cold water and got their feet a little wet, while others walked around the pier looking at the shops and enjoying the scenery.
Following the pier, they went to Rodeo Drive and walked around the famous street for about 30 minutes. As the staff was gathering at the bus, some saw Audrina from The Hills television show and took a picture of her. By the time the team got to the bus, Audrina had gone into a store and some of her biggest fans couldn't get a picture of her, which would have been a highlight of the trip.
Duke closed out the afternoon by stopping at an In-N-Out Burger for a quick lunch. The Blue Devils will watch video; have practice and dinner tonight before calling it a day.
