Duke vs. Rhode Island Series? With a win on Sunday, the Blue Devils improve to 3-0 all-time against Rhode Island. The two previous games in the Duke-Rhode Island series have come in the NCAA Tournament with the Blue Devils earning wins in both contests. Duke won the first meeting between the two schools, 63-62, in the first round of the 1978 NCAA Tournament in Charlotte, N.C. The two schools met again 10 years later in the sweet 16 of the 1988 NCAA Tournament. Duke claimed a 73-72 win in East Rutherford, N.J. to advance to the elite eight.
? The Blue Devils now have an all-time record of 74-27 against teams currently in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Duke has faced 13 of the 14 teams in the league, holding a winning record against 12 of those schools. Sunday's game will be the first of three regular season contests this season against Atlantic 10 teams. The Blue Devils will also face Duquesne on Friday, Nov. 28 and Xavier on Saturday, Dec. 20.

? Coach K now has 733 wins as the head coach at Duke, ranking him sixth in NCAA Division I history for victories at one school and second among active coaches (Jim Boeheim, Syracuse ? 771). Krzyzewski is 26 wins shy of Western Kentucky's Ed Diddle for fifth all-time.
