No. 8-ranked defeated Georgia Southern 97-54 in the second round of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer on November 11, 2008, at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C.
Duke vs. Georgia Southern Series
? No. 8 Duke and Georgia Southern played for just the second time on Tuesday with the Blue Devils now holding a 2-0 record in the series. Duke won the first meeting, 72-48, at home on Nov. 13, 2006.
? Duke is now 139-24 against teams currently in the Southern Conference. The Blue Devils will also face Davidson later this season and own an 86-17 record against the Wildcats. Duke is undefeated against five Southern Conference schools, including The Citadel (9-0), Georgia Southern (2-0), UNC Greensboro (7-0), Western Carolina (3-0) and Wofford (5-0).
Duke In Early Season Tournaments
? With a win in the second round of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, the Blue Devils now have a 2-2 record in the tournament. Duke defeated Presbyterian, 80-49, in the first round on Monday. The Blue Devils lost its games against Stanford and Connecticut in the tournament in New York to open up the 1999-2000 season.
? The Blue Devils advance to the semifinals of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer where they will play the winner of the second round game between UMass and Southern Illinois.

? Coach K now has 732 wins as the head coach at Duke, ranking him sixth in NCAA Division I history for victories at one school and second among active coaches (Jim Boeheim, Syracuse ? 771). Krzyzewski is 27 wins shy of Western Kentucky's Ed Diddle for fifth all-time.
