Duke has won 22 straight in the series dating back to Jan. 7, 1997 (L 86-82 OT) and 11 straight at Cameron dating back to Jan. 4, 1995 (L 75-70). Nelson has now scored 20 or more points in four straight home games, becoming just the 14th player in school history to accomplish that feat. Ronnie Mayer set the standard scoring over 20 points in all 10 home games in 1954-55 while J.J. Redick was the last player to have a streak that long, doing it seven straight games from Jan. 2 ? Feb. 19, 2006.

Freshman Kyle Singler had 17 points, hitting 5-of-10 from the field, 3-of-7 from behind the arc and 4-of-4 from the line, and added four rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes. Singler's 17 points matches his third-highest total of the season. Singler's three made three-pointers and seven attempted both tie his season highs, although they happened against different opponents. He hit three triples against Marquette on Nov. 21 and attempted seven against Virginia on Jan. 13. He now has 11 games scoring in double figures this season.
Sophomore Gerald Henderson scored 16 points, shooting 5-of-9 (.556) from the field and 6-of-10 from the line. He added five rebounds and a pair of assists, steals and blocks. It is the 122nd time in Duke history that a player has had multiple points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in a game, and it is the third time it has happened this season, including twice by Henderson. Henderson now has 13 games scoring in double figures this season and 20 such games in his career. Henderson's six free throws and 10 attempts are both new career highs, while his two blocks is just one off his career high and the fourth time he's registered multiple blocks in his career.
Sophomore Jon Scheyer scored 12 points, including 5-of-5 from the free throw line, and added four rebounds and four assists off the bench for Duke. He now has 11 games scoring in double figures this season, tied with Bill McCaffrey (1989-90) for 11th most in Duke history. Five players are tied for sixth with 12 such games and the season record is 24 from David Henderson. It is also his 34th career game scoring in double figures. He has 22 career games where he has hit all of his free throws, including eight games where he was 5-of-5 or better in a game, including three such games this season.
Freshman Nolan Smith scored 13 points off the bench, shooting 6-of-9 from the field and 1-of-2 from behind the arc. He added four assists to just two turnovers in 19 minutes. He matched his season high with four assists, a mark he has hit in all three ACC games this season. In three conference games, he has 12 assists to just 5 turnovers, good for a 2.5-to-1 ratio.
Junior Greg Paulus scored nine points, including 5-of-5 from the line and two field goals during Duke's late-game surge. Paulus is now 26-of-31 (.839) from the line this season, including 16 straight dating back to the Cornell game on Jan. 6.
