DURHAM, N.C.-- Coming off a 2007 season where the Blue Devil women's soccer team played into the Elite Eight of the NCAA College Cup, Duke University women's soccer coach Robbie Church has announced his staff will conduct three soccer camps in the month of June, 2008.
This marks the sixth year of the Duke Soccer School for Girls under the direction of Church. This summer, camp offerings include a Day Camp and two Residential Camp sessions. During the past six years, camp enrollment has increased reaching maximum camp capacity.
“Each year our camp staff has improved, making our camps extremely popular and competitive,” said Church. “The professional atmosphere brings out the best in the campers. Our camps are a wonderful opportunity for ambitious soccer players to grow in a competitive environment.”
The Duke Soccer School for Girls Day Camp is scheduled for June 9-13 for Girls ages 6-14. This camp offers half day and full day sessions.
Residential Camps will be offered June 14-18 and June 21-25 for Girls ages 10-18. Last year campers from 29 states attended camp as residential campers are housed on Duke's picturesque West Campus Quad.
2008 Duke Soccer School for Girls camp registration is underway on our camp website: www.dukesoccerschool.com. For more information email: lesesne@duaa.duke.edu or call 1-800-681-3450.
