DURHAM, N.C. - GoDuke.com sat down with redshirt sophomore David McClure for a question and answer session. McClure, a native of Ridgefield, Conn., has enjoyed a stellar season for the Blue Devils to date. He is averaging 5.0 points and is tied for second on the team with 5.3 rebounds per game. He also averages 1.5 steals per game and is second on the team with 13 blocks, as well.

GoDuke.com: What is the most interesting class you've taken at Duke?

David McClure: Crime and Punishment, a sociology class.

GD: What is your favorite place to study?

DM: At the library.

GD: Do you have any pregame habits?

DM: I call my mom on the way to the gym.

GD: Why do you wear No. 14?
DM: Because it is one less than my high school number.

GD: What is your favorite part of basketball practice?

DM: The 6-on-5 drill.

GD: If you could change one rule in college basketball, what would it be?

DM: There should be a penalty given for flopping.

GD: What is your favorite NBA team?
DM: Chicago Bulls.

GD: Who is your favorite non-basketball athlete?
DM: Derek Jeter.

GD: What is your favorite movie?

DM: A Bronx Tale.

GD: What about TV show?

DM: Lost and 24.

GD: Actor and Actress?

DM: Will Smith and Jessica Biel.

GD: What about food?
DM: My mom's meatloaf.

GD: Other than basketball, what is your favorite sport to watch?
DM: Baseball.

GD: What is your best non-athletic talent?
DM: Music, I'm learning to play the guitar now.

GD: Who to you most admire?
DM: My parents.

GD: What person from history would you most like to meet?
DM: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

GD: What is your favorite thing about Coach K?
DM: His passion.

GD: What is the most memorable childhood activity you had with your family?
DM: Our yearly trips to Virginia.
