Duke is now 72-27 all-time against teams from the Atlantic-10 and has won nine straight dating back to a 59-58 loss to the Owls on Jan. 25, 1996.
Tuesday marked the 250th consecutive sellout at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The last non-sellout at Cameron was Nov. 16, 1990, in a 100-76 win over Boston College.
Duke owns the nation's longest home winning streak against non-conference opponents at 51 games. The Blue Devils last lost in Cameron Indoor Stadium to a non-league team on February 26, 2000, against St. John's (83-82). The longest such streak in school history was a 95-game effort that ended with a loss to Illinois on December 2, 1995. Duke has also won 181 of its last 184 non-conference home games.
Duke has now started 11-0 at home 15 times, including 10 times under Coach K and in seven of the last 10 seasons (1942, 1963, 1966, 1978, 1986, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007).
Duke has now hit a three-pointer in a school-record 600 games, the fourth-longest streak in the NCAA. Only UNLV (645), Vanderbilt (642) and Kentucky (621) also own streaks of 600 or more consecutive games.
Duke improves to 179-52 under Coach K all-time in the month of January and has won three straight in January. Duke is 81-7 in January since the 1996-97 season.
Duke held Temple to 55 points, meaning Duke has held 12 of its 14 opponents to 56 points or less.
Duke has averaged 12.0 (60) turnovers in the last five games compared to an average of 17.8 over the first nine games of the season. Duke has also assisted on 82-of-124 (66.1 percent) of its field goals in the last four games compared to just 92-of-202 (45.5 percent) over the first nine games.
Duke recorded a season-high 49 rebounds against Temple, marking the second straight game Duke has recorded a season high in team rebounds. Duke's 49-28 rebounding advantage (+21) is the highest of the season, as well, surpassing a 30-10 advantage against Air Force. That marks the 12th time in 14 games that Duke has held the rebounding advantage. Duke holds a +6.9 rebounding advantage over its opponents this season (37.3 to 30.4).
Sophomore Josh McRoberts scored a career-high 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out four assists against just two turnovers and also had four blocked shots. In the last four games, McRoberts has two double-doubles, has averaged 16.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 4.0 blocks and 1.8 steals per game. He also has 18 assists to just five turnovers for a 3.6 ratio, as well. It marked McRoberts' first 20-point performance and ninth double-figure scoring game of the season and 24th of his career. Duke is 23-1 when McRoberts scores in double figures.
Junior DeMarcus Nelson scored 14 points and pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds. He added three assists in 31 minutes of action. It marked his second double-double of the season and his career and also marked his third career double-figure rebounding game. He has now scored in double figures in 12 games this season and 27 of his career and Duke is 24-3 in those games.
Sophomore Greg Paulus had a perfect shooting night scoring 10 points on 4-of-4 from the field, 2-of-2 from behind the arc and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He added a pair of steals and assists in a game-high 36 minutes of action. He has scored in double figures in four straight games and five on the season and 16 in his career.
David McClure secured a career-high 12 rebounds and scored all six of his points after halftime. He also had two blocks in 28 minutes of action. It is first career double-figure rebounding game.
