Ness Named To 2006 All-ACC Academic Swimming Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. ? Fifteen All-Atlantic Coast Conference performers highlight the inaugural All-ACC Academic Women's Swimming and Diving Team, as announced Friday by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Each of the league's 11 schools that sponsor swimming and diving is represented on the team.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

Ness earlier this season was named a second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America team member.
