Bercek & Plotkin Defeated In ITA National Indoor Consolation Play

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Senior Daniela Bercek and freshman Elizabeth Plotkin were defeated in quarterfinal-round consolation bracket action at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships on Friday morning.
The 25th-ranked duo fell to third-ranked Catrina and Christian Thompson of Notre Dame, 8-2, dropping to 5-4 in fall action with the loss. In main draw play, Bercek and Plotkin fell to Celia Durkin and Jessica Nguyen of Stanford, 8-3, on Monday in the round of 16.
ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships run through Sunday, Nov. 5. The event is being hosted by The Ohio State University, with all matches to be played at The Racquet Club Of Columbus. For more information please visit www.ITATennis.com.
