Liz Janangelo Finishes Tied For 40th At The LPGA Kraft Nabisco

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF. - Duke sophomore Liz Janangelo carded a final round 75 on Sunday to finish tied for 40th at the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship. She finished as the third-best amateur in the tournament behind Michelle Wie and Jane Park at the Par 72, 6,460-Yard Mission Hills Country Club.
Janangelo finished with a four-day total of 294 with rounds of 71, 78, 70 and 75. On Sunday, her round of 75 included three birdies, four bogies and one double-bogey.
A West Hartford, Conn., product, Janangelo will now return to Durham and play in Duke's next tournament on April 2-4 at the Bryan National Collegiate.
