Blue Devils Hit The Road For Matches Against Maryland And Rutgers

The Duke University wrestling team, 5-4 in dual meets and 1-0 in the ACC, travels to College Park, Md. on Saturday to compete in dual meets against Maryland and Rutgers. Matches are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.

Duke is coming off a 21-13 win over North Carolina, snapping a 30-match losing streak to the Tar Heels. Christian Smith, Adam Benitez, Andy Soliman, Daniel Shvartsman, Michael Mitchell and Levi Craig posted wins in the match.

Shvartsman and Smith continue to pace the Blue Devils in wins with 28 and 22 wins respectively. Mitchell is 17-5 on the year with a 6-1 mark in dual matches. Soliman has also been effective in duals with a 5-1 record.
