• Coach Gail Goestenkors coached in her 400th career game on the night. She improves to 311-89 in her 13th years.
• Duke won its seventh game in a row and 13th consecutive home game.
• The Blue Devils finished the game with six players scoring double-figures.
• Duke finished the game with a season-best 68 points in the paint. The Blue Devils also had a season-high 30 assists, 99 points, 49.4 field goal percentage and 20 steals.
• Freshman Chante Black finished the game with a career-high 16 points to go along with six rebounds and two blocks.
• Junior Mistie Williams collected a career-high four assists in the first half and finished the game with five. She missed a double-double by one rebound as she had 11 points and nine rebounds.
• Wanisha Smith scored a career-high 22 points. She finished the game with a career-best 10-of-11 from the free throw line. It marked the second game in a row she scored 20 or more points and the third time this season.
• Jessica Foley had a career-high nine rebounds on the night to go along with eight points and five assists.
• Sophomore Alison Bales dished out a career-high five assists. She also finished with 10 rebounds, which marks the third time this season she has grabbed 10 or more rebounds.
• Duke held the Gamecocks to only 25.5 percent shooting, which marks the sixth time this season the Blue Devils have held an opponent to under 30.0 percent shooting. This is a new single season record for a Duke defense.
• Duke held Jacksonville State to only 14 points in the first half, which ties a season-best.
• Sophomore Caitlin Howe did not play due to a sore knee.
• The Blue Devils improve to 168-24 in games played at Cameron Indoor Stadium over the 13 years Gail Goestenkors has been at Duke. Against non-conference opponents, Goestenkors is 80-7 in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
• Duke will next travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to play in the Boilermaker BlockBuster on Saturday, Dec. 18 versus 18th-ranked Purdue. The game will be played at 4:30 PM in the Conseco Field House.
