DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke women's soccer team travels to meet instate rival and ACC foe Wake Forest on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem. Game time has been changed from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This is the 11th matchup between Duke and Wake Forest, with the Blue Devils victorious in the last three meetings and leading the series 6-3-1. Duke is 7-8-2 overall this season and 1-3-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, while the Demon Deacons are 12-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the ACC.
Sophomore midfielder Casey McCluskey leads the Blue Devils with 20 points and nine goals, while freshman forward Carolyn Riggs also has a team-leading nine goals and 19 points. Senior midfielder Liz Wagner and freshman midfielder Shelly Marshall are third on the team with seven points. Wagner has three goals and one assist, while Marshall has one goal, but leads the team with five assists. Duke is outshooting its opponents 272-151 and has 34 goals compared to 22 goals for opponents.
