DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke women's soccer team returns home on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:00 p.m. to face instate rival High Point at Koskinen Stadium. Before the match, Duke Athletics and Blue Devil women's soccer will honor six seniors who are playing in their final home game: Brigid Bowdell, Maegan Lobo-Berg, Rebecca Smith, Liz Wagner, Tara Walker and Sara Zielske.
This is the first matchup between High Point and the Blue Devils. Duke is 6-8-2 overall and 1-3-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, while the Panthers are 3-8-3 overall and 1-2-3 in the Big South.
Sophomore midfielder Casey McCluskey and freshman forward Carolyn Riggs lead the Blue Devils with eight goals and 17 points. Freshman midfielder Shelly Marshall leads the team with four assists. Duke is outshooting its opponents 247-148 and has 28 goals compared to 22 goals for opponents.
The Duke promotions staff will be giving out scarves to the first 150 fans. After the match, the Blue Devil women's soccer team will be signing autographs.
