Duhon Scores 25 Points As White Defeats Blue, 69-61

Sophomore guard Chris Duhon connected on seven three-point field goals en route to scoring a game-best 25 points as the White team defeated the Blue squad, 69-61, in Duke's annual Blue-White game held on Saturday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Junior guard Jason Williams added 21 points, six steals and five assists for the White unit while junior forward Dahntay Jones chipped in 14 points. Junior center Casey Sanders contributed nine points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots.
For the Blue team, junior center Carlos Boozer led the way with 20 points and 11 boards while junior forward Mike Dunleavy registered a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore forward Nick Horvath logged 12 points and eight rebounds and freshman guard Daniel Ewing had team-highs of six assists and five steals.
The White team took the lead for good at the 1:08 mark of the first half when Williams buried a three-pointer for a 28-26 advantage.
After leading 31-26 at intermission, the White squad led by 18 points when Duhon's three pointer made the score 57-39 with 5:36 remaining in the game. The Blue team responded with a 22-8 run to pull within 65-61 on a pair of free throws by Boozer with just 17 seconds left. The White team then scored the game's final four points for the final margin.
Duke plays its first exhibition of the 2001-02 season on November 5 against EA Sports All-Stars at 7:30 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
