Duke men's and women's soccer will play host to Virginia as the teams square-off in an Atlantic Coast Conference doubleheader Saturday at Koskinen Stadium.
The women will kickoff the doubleheader at 5:30 p.m., while the men will battle at 8:00 p.m.
The Blue Devil women (5-7 overall, 0-4 ACC) got two goals from junior forward Alison Sanders in their 2-1 victory over Florida International Sunday. The win ended Duke's losing streak at four games.
The No. 13 Cavaliers (10-2-1, 2-1 ACC) extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 3-0 victory at Richmond on Wednesday. Freshman forward Lindsay Gusick scored twice, while sophomore forward Sarah Lane added a goal for Virginia.
The Duke men (7-5, 2-1 ACC) defeated Campbell in overtime, 2-1, on Wednesday for their third straight win. Sophomore forward Jordan Cila registered the golden goal 10 minutes into overtime for his fourth goal in three games. Junior defender Mark Mattern also scored for the Blue Devils.
The No. 2 Virginia men (11-0-1, 4-0 ACC) are coming off a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Mercer on Wednesday. Trailing 1-0 with less than 15 minutes to play, senior forward Sheldon Barnes and sophomore forward Alecko Eskandarian scored less than four minutes apart to complete the comeback.
