Four Blue Devils to Compete at Rolex Nationals

DALLAS, TEXAS - Four members of the Duke women's tennis team will be
competing in the Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships from
Feb. 1-4 at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, Texas. The
championships are the third leg of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association
(ITA) Grand Slam.
In singles action, freshman Ansley Cargill (Atlanta, Ga.) is seeded No. 2 and will face No. 23 Gabriela Lastra of Stanford in the first round, while No. 14 ranked senior Kathy Sell (Moorestown, N.J.) will battle No. 51 Erica Perkins of Washington State, and No. 16 ranked freshman Amanda Johnson (Bettendorf, Iowa) will take on No. 35 Katja Kovac of Baylor.
All singles matches begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday morning.
Duke's No. 6 ranked doubles duo of senior Megan Miller/Johnson is the only doubles team representing the Blue Devils and they will take on No. 9 Ashley Hedberg/Jessica Roland.
All doubles matches will begin at 2:30 PM on Thursday.
