I give Duquesne a lot of credit. I thought they came out and played really well in the second half. I was disappointed with our second half effort, but I give Duquesne credit for maintaining their focus and continuing to play hard and play well.
I was disappointed with our overall effort. I felt like we didn't play smart and played distracted. We have family and friends in town for Thanksgiving and I felt like we played very, very distracted. We never got into a flow offensively or defensively. So we are going to have to improve a great deal because Toledo is an excellent basketball team.
I thought we started off [the first half] very strong. After we got a big lead we wanted to work on our zones, and those didn't look good at all. I think we lost some of our focus and intensity when we went to the zones. I thought our man-to-man early on was very, very good and our intensity was good.
Dan Durkin, Duquesne Head Coach
We played a team that can go 14 deep and is pretty damn good. [Duke] is a pretty damn good team that shows really good pressure on the basketball that certainly can go deep. They are working on some schemes defensively that they used against us that they didn't necessarily use throughout their first five games in regard to some of their trapping and half court faces. I thought that our goal was obviously to win the game, but when we went down at halftime our goal was to win the second half and we lost 2-0.
I thought we did a better job in the second half as a team.

On Duke's defensive pressure
[Duke] is a good team and everyone knows it. [Duke's defensive pressure] is another level of basketball.
