Koskinen Stadium to be Dedicated

DURHAM, N.C. (Sept. 25) -- Duke University's soccer and lacrosse stadium will be officially dedicated and named John and Patricia Koskinen Stadium prior to Duke's women's soccer match with top-ranked Santa Clara Sunday afternoon at 3 pm.

The Koskinen family gave the University a $2.5 million gift to enhance facilities and endow a women's sports scholarship. Future plans for the stadium, which houses Duke's men's and women's lacrosse and soccer teams, include a new scoreboard, significant signage commemorating Duke's ACC championships and NCAA Final Four appearances, restrooms and a pressbox.
