The Blue Devils led from start to finish in the competitive event, collecting rounds of 294-293-291=878. Duke was pushed by both Southern Cal and Arizona, each finishing tied for second at 882. Arizona State earned a fourth-place showing at 891, while UCLA finished fifth at 905.
Duke's Candy Hannemann was the top Duke finisher as she fired rounds of 75-74-71=220 to tie for sixth. Senior Amie Lehman, who held a tie for the lead after two rounds, finished tied for eighth at 72-70-79=221. Junior Kalen Anderson and sophomore Beth Bauer tied for 11th. Anderson secured rounds of 72-77-73=222, while Bauer collected scores of 75-72-75=222. Freshman Maria Garcia-Estrada completed the Duke lineup tied for 20th at 76-77-72=225.
The event was played at the Crosswater Golf Club, a 6,502-yard par 72 layout.
