#1 Women's Golf Takes Over First Place On Day Two

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The No. 1 ranked Duke women's golf team shot a team-low 294 on day-two of the Rolex/Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Collegiate Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C. to jump into first place going into the final round on Sunday.

The Blue Devils were led by Beth Bauer with a 71 on the day, who is currently tied for first place individually with Jenna Daniels of Arizona (71-71=142, -2). Duke's Candy Hannemann is in fourth place after a two-under-par round of 70 on Saturday (74-70=144). Other Duke players include Maria-Garcia Estrada is tied for 12th (72-76=148), Kalen Anderson is tied for 18th (74-77=151) and Kristina Engstrom is tied for 32nd (74-80=154).

The Rolex/Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Collegiate Invitational, presented by Cleveland Golf, consists of five-player teams in a 54-hole competition. The Invitational is being played at the Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Dunes. It is a par 72 and measures 6,257 yards from the women's tees.
