Frederique Wollaert made an immediate impact in her first season with Duke field hockey, earning NFHCA All-America third-team honors in 2024. A graduate student transfer from Penn, Wollaert anchored one of the nation's top defensive units, starting all 20 games for the Blue Devils.
Wollaert ranked third nationally with a 0.67 goals-against average and a .772 save percentage while leading Duke to a program-record 12 shutouts during the regular season. Her goals-against average also set a Duke single-season record. Credited with eight individual shutouts, Wollaert played a pivotal role in Duke’s defensive dominance, with the team leading the nation in shutouts in 2024.
