
Recapping Duke at the #ACCKickoff
Representing Duke at the 2021 ACC Kickoff were head coach David Cutcliffe, graduate student quarterback Gunnar Holmberg, senior running back Mataeo Durant and sophomore defensive tackle DeWayne Carter.

The foursome went through approximately seven hours of interviews, photo shoots and on-screen appearances in front of nearly 450 credentialed members of the media.
The Blue Devils spoke with local and national media outlets, including ESPN, CBS, Bally Sports, the News & Observer and more. They also participated in on-air radio hits and photoshoots.

All four Blue Devils in attendance were interviewed live on ACC Network throughout the day. Cutcliffe appeared on the network with Wes Durham and Kelsey Riggs while Carter, Durant and Holmberg spoke with Katie George.

Leadership-wise -- I've grown as a leader being that I'm one of the most experienced backs in our running back room. I talk to a lot of younger players on things that we need on the field and off the field because if you act right outside the field, that will carry over.
