DURHAM, N.C. – GoDuke.com recently caught up with freshman wrestler
Jonah Niesenbaum to see how he adjusted to life away from Durham.

Niesenbaum garnered two of his three wins on the year late in the season, including a thrilling 5-2 decision-win over Robert Scherer of Virginia. The Allentown, Pa., native also registered a 17-4 major decision win over Presbyterian's Montgomery Mills during his second ever career bout.
Where are you now?
"Currently I am in Allentown Pennsylvania, where I grew up."

What are you doing to stay active?
"I have been running trails, hiking, and lifting weights."

What was your favorite memory from this season?
"My favorite memory from the season was when Ben (Anderson) and Mason (Eaglin) got back-to-back pins against Virginia - Lots of energy!"

What do you miss most about being at Duke?
"I miss my teammates, the weight room, and West Union food - especially Sazón. I really just can't wait to be back on campus."
What is one thing you're going to do once you get back to Durham?
"When I get back to campus, the first thing I am going to do is hug my boys."

Have you picked up any new hobbies since not being at school?
"Since being home, I have been working on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler. I have been learning a lot about basic car mechanics."
