With most of the country's summer collegiate baseball leagues coming to a close, several Duke baseball players have made tremendous impacts on their respective teams. Six Blue Devils were named all-stars, while numerous others have led their teams to post-season success. All-in-all, Duke was well-represented in various leagues while several players have flashed signs of what to expect during the 2008 season.
“We are pleased with the progress of our players around the country,” head coach Sean McNally said. “The summer is a very important development period, and as a whole the group took advantage of their time away from campus to elevate their strengths and eliminate limitations on the diamond. We are excited to welcome them back to campus and eager to have them join our incoming freshman for the 2008 season.”
